Can you help?

Thank you for stopping by this page, unfortunately Pet-Tacular does not recieve any funding from outside sources so has to rely entirely on the generosity of it's supporters.

Donations of money, food, cages, hay, shavings, pet-toys and treats can be made in person by visiting the centre. Alternatively we can accept donations through paypal - made to pettacular@yahoo.co.uk - or cheque - made payable to Pet-Tacular. If you want your donation to go towards a specific fund, please don't forget to mention what it is.

If you'd like to make an annonymous donation we would be very grateful for any monies paid into our vet account, this is Conanvet in Conon Bridge - it is simply called Pet-Tacular Rescue Centre's account.

If you do not specify a specific fund for your donation to be spent in, it will go towards the day to day costs of the rescue centre, food and vet bills.

THE CARLY FUND

We decided to have a separate fund for certain vet bills, the fund is named after Carly a very special rat who was living at the centre while her owner was in tempory accomodation. Under normal circumstances an animal with tumours was put to sleep as it was deemed an unneccessary waste of resources to put an animal with a lifespan of only a few years through a traumatic operation when there was no definate home for it to go to (obviously all animals go to see a vet if they are unwell and treatment is always considered over euthenasia if the problem is not a life threatening condition.) However, because Carly had a home, but her owner was unable to afford the bills at the time, we raised enough money to pay for the removal of her tumour. Carly made a full recovery and her owner was delighted when they were eventually re-united. Carly has since passed on through old age but we are hoping that people will continue to make donations to this fund and (so long as it will not cause the animal undue stress or pain) operations may be offered for the removal of tumours and other operations which before were considered too expensive to undertake.

A rat called Jasmine complete with lumps! - Donations have came from as far away as Canada and the US to try and help this rat ... She lived an extra year after her operation!

The amount of money in the Carly Fund currently stands at £0.00p
